HORSEPOWER TO WEIGHT RATIO - Jul 9, 2004 11:05pm
I was sitting down contemplating weight ratios and acceleration. Horsepower & torque to weight ratio is what gives you the neck snap when you dump the petrol to her.
Estimated pounds for each bhp: (Not including driver)
Celica GT: 20.8
Celica GTS: 15.6
Porsche GT2: 6.6 (Holly crap)
My GT Skidoo: 3.9
Stroked Hayabusa: 2.2
Its just crazy when you look at the stats. I'd like to take dyno results for all the cars in the same "class" as the Celica as see what the comparison looks like.
Has anyone done some serious weight reduction on their 7th gen Celica? How much?
