i just got this, (1992 GTI 16v) was my dads! i stole it well i got it cheep, and its sound at the mo, hopefully stay sound after i have played around with it

Just picked up this neglected 1990 Celica GT-S for $500. It will need all sorts of suspension work, new tires, power steering, and most obviously, paint job. Can't wait to get busy on it!

Is this sub-forum still alive? I will need all the support I can get on this baby, if anyone knows a more vibrant community for 5th-gen Celica, I'd love to know.

Before picture. Bought for 2k, fell apart 2 weeks later. Beginning restoration process December 2021. I had a 93 for 10 years, took excellent care of it too! 6 new cars later, still miss my celi
