hah... billy.. after i had bought my body kit for my celica... i went through ecelica's photo gallery and found the picture of your car.. i thought it was funny that it was almost the same thing that i had just bought.. so i put your car on my computer as wallpaper... so i had an idea of what my car would look like... i thought it was just some picture of a show car someone got out of some magazine until i started looking at the forums and realized someone on this site actually owns it... your car is freakin hott... looooove the rims

i don't agree that your kid won't appreciate it as much... it just depends on how your kid is raised... my dad gave me my 3000GT and i appreciate that more than any car i have bought for myself... actually i appreciate that car more than anything i own... i LOVE that thing... i wouldn't even trade it for a lamborghini... i know that dad didn't have to do that for me.. even though he owns a car dealership and all 3 of my sisters got a nice car... he still could've just gave me a neon or nothing at all... but instead he gave me the best car i will ever own.. and i appreciate it.. trust me.. haha... just raise him/her to take nothing for granted.. and you'll be all good

no i was saying most kids don't treat stuff they are given with respect i was not referring to anyone on the board.

it was a geneeralization. i understand yoru father was able to get you a celicawhich was nice of him adn obviously you erspect that. i jsut won't do it for my kids. i will help them geta car but will not get them one. i have more respect for what i have gotten on my own and that was the way i was raised i have never had a hand out and neither will my kids.

Everyone he's just wanting to share that he's getting a VS2 bumper soon, just like everyone else on the boards likes to share their new mods. There's no reason to jump on his back, it's either 1.) his dad bought them 2.) He didn't buy the car himself or 3.) he doesn't pay insurance so he can afford all this.

Just be happy for him, obviously he has shown his parents that he is responsible, I myself didn't buy my car and I don't pay insurance but that's because I haven't ever fucked around to lead my parents to believe that I can't have a car. Don't get all $$ pissy, just support everyone with what they have!

BTW, your car is gonna look even more kickass than it does now Billy

but our parents got us these cars because they wanted us to have something nice.. and thought we deserved them... and frankly dad bought me my GT because he wanted me to get in and out of the passing lane as fast as possible.. as well as have something reliable that he wouldn't have to come rescue me all the time... we shouldn't have to put up with other peoples crap... i mean come on you guys... if your dad pulled a celica.. or a 3000GT in the garage... and said "this is yours" would you honestly turn it down?? i sure as hell wouldn't... and i didn't...
