Supra/Celica - Dec 1, 2003 5:09am
I went to Palestine, Texas for thanksgiving and I saw a Toyota Supra for sale for 6,000. It looked like an earlier model it wasn't the 1995+ year models but the generation be fore that. It was red, had very good tires,5 speed manual. I was thinking about getting it for a practice car and getting a celica gts next school year. But tonight me and my dad looked at some celicas and I went crazy for it again. My dad knows I like the celica a lot and told me to get the newer one since I'm not going to keep the supra. I was going to use the supra as a practice car to get use to a manual transmission didn't want to mess up the celica but my dad said I could just buy a new clutch. I'm lookin to get a celica next may, may tenth to be exact my birthday .
Palestine is almost an hour drive. And my dad let me drive his CORVETTE all the way back to dallas. It was so much fun but nerve racking for me cause I learning how to drive (I'm only 15). Any ways It was my first time on the freeway. It was one of those open roads with barely any traffic. My dad told me to punch the gas, I was already rolling at 75 mph I was in third gear which is much more responsive. I got it up to 102 mph and had to get out of it cause I was coming up on a car really fast.
I'm jealous of all the people who own celicas because I don't have one...yet
Wish me luck on getting one
