Celica Forums General Discussion Exterior Coilovers Question?

In the spring, i'm looking to get some coilovers. I've been researching and most likely i want TEIN. I've been reading good things about SS coilovers, but then i was reading they dont come with front pillow mounts. Also, hotchkis coilovers are always good b/c they have good products but i dont read too much about...it is the price or everyone decides to get springs and aftermarket shock and struts?...Neway any opinions or knowledge toward the Tein SS or anything would be helpful...and i already read the members reviews liek 6 times...

I would highly recommend the Tanabe Sustec Pro SS coilovers. That's what I'm running & I also opted out for the front pillow mounts. With the front pillow mounts you get a little more noise, kind of a swoosh sound from the gas in the front struts, it actually sounds pretty sweet. Plus they're lighter than the stock suspension, so you'll be shaving off some weight The main reason that I went with Tanabe is 'cuz I've got a Tanabe theme going

yea...i've been reading about those as well but theyre like 1600 but i seen them on sale like 800-900 on a group buy
