anyways my buddy just got a new carbon fiber hood, now he's asking if he has to put hood pins on it?

i say you don't have too..
but then he saids that he has too, cause the hood is too dam light, that it might fly off..??

is that true.. kinda suxs when you don't want to drill any holes in the hood..

the carbon fiber hood is the oem replacement, so anyone who has a Carbon Fiber hood... pls put your $0.02

why don't you just ask byron? i asked him a a couple people at scotty's meet and they all said yes b/c the carbon fiber hood may fly off in a crash.

I have a VIS hood, oem fit. I like it clean so at the moment, no plans on hoodpins. I drove to Az and back to San Diego with no problems...this time .

you must put pins on that because I use to have a 94 celica and I didn't pin it. Yo guess what happen. My hood flew back and shatter my glass, and I got in a reck. I now have a fracture arm, and stiches on my head. Peace. I was going 120.

I maxed out at 90mph.
