kazuma exhaust

Can anyone help me find a silencer? I really want the loud sound of the exhaust, but I need to tone it down a little so I can avoid getting tickets. Where can I buy one? thanks.

Putting the silencer on it won't quiet it down that much if at all. The only effective way to make it more quiet is to weld on a resonator.

Welding on a resonator is just the same as buying any other exhaust, which is probably what you should have done if you were worried about getting tickets. Welding one on kind of diminishes the purpose of buying the Kazuma exhaust, which is to have the freest exhaust on the market. It'll slow the exhaust flow a little & you'll probably end up with the same gains as the rest of the exhausts that are available. But it'll definetely quiet it down. So if you're really worried about getting pulled over, I would sell it & get the tsrm, it's supposely the loudest exhaust.

i run a kazuma sometimes,(running pro1 now,its easy for me to switch)what i used to do with the kazuma when i'm not racing to curb the noise:
was get the silencer(4.5") get another silencer, that was smaller (4") and have it welded onto the back of the first.
it is now longer with two flanges.i then take regular fiber glass wrap (the ones you use to stuff/line speaker boxes (insulation) and wrap in between the two flages back and front until it came up to the exact hight of the flanges.i used a single hose clamp (the one that comes with Intakes and clamp around the middle to hold the fiber glass wrap in place.its a lot more quiet with the silencer alone and you do still feel some gains, when i'm ready to race i take it out.
the kazuma has a sharp bend clase to the back, you have to measure accuratly to put the second flange on so that both fit into the exhaust without the back of the pipe getting jammed on the inside.

some sites say 20 some say 18,others say 14.i didnt do a dyno on the exhaust alone, but i will guess it more closer to the 14, round or about i will call it 12.it feels like a combination of a regular TRD exhaust and a AEM CAI.you will feel a differnce, but its loud though.

thanks everyone for your input. I will try and get a silencer and see if it makes a difference. by the way, by getting the silencer, does it make the kazuma exhaust "street legal"? If not, I may just sell it and get the TRD exhaust.
