For those of you with 18x7.5" rims what size tire do U have? I am planning on ordering my 18" rims within 2 weeks and need to know if I should go with a 225/35/18 or 225/40/18? The tire company that I am getting my rims from said that I may have some problems with the 40 series hitting the fenders, and that I should go with the 35 series. But I would much rather go with the 40 series since it would fill in the gap better. Thanks for the info!!! thumbsup

is your car lowered at all or is it stock height with the 40 tires?

how low can you go with 40s? and how low can you go with 35s?

My car isn't lowered yet but i have about a 2 inch gap front and back, so i will probably get TRD springs at 1 inch or teins, which is a 1.5 inch drop.

215/35/18, i think that is the only way they will fit with the sportlines.

I'm on coilovers right now, so I can adjust the ride height.

I am planning on ordering a set of 18x7.5" ADR Demonya Black. Looks tight on a black Celi. Plus, it's gonna look even better once I get my kit on, which is being held off because of the lack of over-sized rims. But, in order to stick with my New Year's Resolution of having the car done by the end of this year, I gotta keep buying my baby "new clothes" and "accessories", know what I mean? happywink

I am running 225/35/18 on my car... with no problems. I chose them over the 225/40/18 for one reason. They have a smaller overall diameter, yes only by a small margine. This however will effect your acceleration. The smaller diameter will let you accelerate quicker while the larger will give you a higher top speed. Depends on what you want

I like the 'slimmer profile' tires. They look very nice. But my dad says that they have a lot of drawbacks. Anyone know them?
