Which is a better size for 18" rims: 225/40/18 or 215/35/18. Thanks

the 35 profile is closer to stock ...however i went with 40 because there are so many potholes where i live, i wanted something ot protect my rims alittle bit more ... thumbsup

225/35 18 is the best

With the 225's, your profile will be approximately 3.54 inches tall, while with the 215's, your profile will be 2.96 inches.

Just depends on what you are looking for. Wider tires launch better, but in my opinion, tires with lower profiles look better, and since you have 18's, then you might wanna go with the slimmest profile you can get. Just my opinion though.
