a very strong double sided tape...

with whatever emblem I may put on mine, that's what will do the trick! thumbsup

use a double sided foam adhesive tape, I reccommend 3M trim tape (the grey stuff).

Put a piece on the back of the emblem (if there is no adhesive on the back already) press it onto the grill, then go on the backside of the grille, cut a small strip of trim tape and apply it to the BACK SIDE of the grill, behind the emblem, and press it into the holes so it contacts the adhesive on the back of the emblem through the mesh. this will keep it on there through all sorts of conditions.

Not on debadging, on the badge itself. Debadging is taking an emblem/badge off of your car.

I would use some metal epoxy and glue some light bolt to the back of that gts emblem and buy a matching nut to go along with the bolt.

then put some washers from behind the mesh grill and tighten it with the nut.

I use two small bolts to keep it from twirling.

right he said he spent 32 bucks but now he doesnt know how to get it on. So im assuming he spent the 32 bucks to get it off. Unless he bought the GTS badge for 32 bucks and is keeping the back badge on? Clear this up for me

How hard is it to remove the toyota symbol ? Do you have to remove the whole grill and put a new one in ?

I went to the dealership because Ive been searching all over the place for a cheaper one. The dealership had to order it because they don't keep them around, so I should get it on Tuesday (02/10/04). Im keeping the one on back and removing the front Toyota emblem (it's just attached with some nuts) and Im almost positive that the new one has some 3M adhesive on the back of it but Im not so sure that it'll hold very well because there is not a lot of surface area to stick to. I was thinking to put some epoxy on both sides of it and hope that when I wash it it's not going to fly off. Thanks for all the info and comments guys keep them coming and Ill post which one Ill use. thumbsup[/color]
