So i was driving on the freeway, and pulled up next to a car and let off the gas for the blow-off valve to hit. I then stomped on the gas, and took off, but all of a suden my CEL came on for like 2 sec. then went off. I dont have any boost now??? Motor runs fine, but its like I have a vac line off or somthing. The turbo spools, but only produces power until about 5000 then the engine cuts it off like hitting a rev limiter? WTF is going on.???

damn that sucks!
i dont think you blew your motor though...
does your car smoke now? do you have oil
coming out your pcv valve?
it might be low oil pressure or low oil to no oil.

i remember my old car was burning oil and i didnt know
and when i floored it it wouldnt go past 5500rpms sounded like i was hitting the rev limiter. pulled over popped the hood sure enough 0 oil on the dip stick!

Does it build any pressure above 5k rpm or does the pressure just drop?

Eh i don't know, all these problems seem to be installation related. Or at least that what it sounds like.

Alright got the car back. The damn line to the boost gauge came off and was leaking boost/vac so the engine didnt know what to do. Everything is OK, 120$ later (FUCKKKKK)
