Hey guys i know i ask a lot of questions but here it goes.I really wanted to put a body kit on my 02 gt.but around here there isnt really anyone that is good, and the one or 2 places that are good are not cheap at all.so what i am trying to get from you guys is which kits i could get that will cost the least in labor as far as fitment.i like the blitz kit but i know its gonna require a lot of shaving and things.so i am trying to find a few choices that require little shaving to get them to fit.thanks guys

Yes, it is possible to get a kit, painted and installed for under a grand - I got one of my kits for that exactly!

My first kit was the R2... since then my car has had several other kits installed

...

the only kits I own are the ones that have been painted...

1) R2 - first kit, its been repaired a few times and still looks new! Still my #1 body kit of choice
https://celicahobby.com/gal3/kit_r2_ins

2) Revmotion Fiberglass - currently intalled (painted black)
https://celicahobby.com/gal3/kit_revmotion_ins

3) Revmotion Carbon Fiber - it was the the prototype that Tony and MB Autosport worked together on ...it was given to me when Tony got his TRD Kit and I didnt respect it when it was installed - now its all busted up (drove over a parking twice, and I mis-judged a 3 point turn... Steven watched that one happen)
https://celicahobby.com/gal3/isaac_20020221

4) Blitz Urethane - It was sponsored to me my MB Autosport so that a review could be written on it... since then, it had been kept in perfect condition, uninstalled and then was sold to Dooly/RedDevil)
https://celicahobby.com/gal3/isaac_blitz

5) Octane - Owned by Tony, test-fitted and wesn't too excited, so he re-sold it a few days later
https://celicahobby.com/gal3/kit_octine

6) TCS - Used for Test-fitment and to proove that the fitment rumours were wrong - but they were right and the fitment was the just about the worst i've ever seen before
https://celicahobby.com/gal3/kit_tcs

7) Blitz Fiberglass - Used for Test-fitment
https://celicahobby.com/gal3/kit_blitz_ins

8) K2 - Used for testfitment, this is Genuine K2 Bodykit
https://celicahobby.com/gal3/kit_k2_ins

9) Kaminari - I just had to see for myself how well this kit actualy fit... its damn near perfect! thumbsup
https://celicahobby.com/gal3/kit_kaminari_ins

10) BuddyClub - Used for Test-fitment
https://celicahobby.com/gal3/kit_buddyclub

11) VIZ Racing - Used for Test-fitment
https://celicahobby.com/gal3/kit_vizracing

12) Invader6 - Used for Test-fitment
https://celicahobby.com/gal3/kit_invader6

13) Bomex - Used for test-fitment - This thing fits BETTER THAN STOCK!
https://celicahobby.com/gal3/kit_bomex_ins

14) oh, and we mustn't forget about the standard front that came with the car when ir was originaly picked up from the dealership spineyes
https://celicahobby.com/gal3/isaac_20021213

Im probably forgetting a few body kits in my listing... but you get the general idea wink

the ones that are very well of a fitment are (for instance the kaminari)like 900-1000 dollars.this poses a problem considering i only have a grand to spend.

i wouldnt mind having the blitz kit.and you cant buy the kit fairly cheap.but most likely i would spend more than 500 in labor because its a kit that needs shaved a good bit.am i right on this?

...Depends on who makes it since there realy is no such thing as a GENUINE BLITZ BODYKIT FOR TOYOTA CELICA.

Everything is always BLITZ STYLE

The closest fitment you could get that would be blitz style that has good fitment would be the BLITZ URETHANE FRONT made by APC

what about the kit on the ecelica store?it has the urethane front on it.how good of a fitment would that one be and how much shaving do you think would it take off the top of your head if you had to guess labor wise

Read my review...
https://celicahobby.com/feature/blitz_polyurethane.html

Install was simple when I had it - no major problems, just paint, drill and install

...

You keep taling about "shaving" - I dont think you are speaking of the correct term. To shave something means to cut it away... Cuting a body kit is actuialy quite simple and anyone with a 3rd grade education can do that.

and this gets brought back from March - just to make a comment about nothing related to the original topic rofl

Yes - we only sell ORIGINAL Kaminari - and we report all the companies selling replica/fraudulent copies of Kaminari products
