Well with my new head unit and rear speakers installed, I'm moving on to the front ones. What speakers do you guys think are the best for the front? I'm thinking of going with Infinity Kappa 60.5cs( Link [crutchfield.com] ) with a Alpine MRP-T220 ( Link 2 [crutchfield.com] ) What do you guys think?

when you change the stock speakers with the aftermarket do you really need a amplifier ? can you just replace with stock ones . ?

you can just replace the stock ones without a amp, but it would sound more clear if you had a higher watt amp.

The JL XR-650 CSi components are tight. Pair them with a 300/2 or 300/4 amp and you're good to go. They'll smoke the Infinity set...

But in reality it comes down to what you think sounds better. Try to match the amp and speaker rms for best results thumbsup

if you dont put an amp for the speakers you have to connect them from your radio, i have all around infinitys and there awesome, for the front though rather then going with regular infinitis i went with the seperate tweeters, i would recommend going with seperate tweeters rather then attached, it sounds better, and yeah, put at least 50 - 75 watts per channel to the speakers, im trying to update my system with one more sub, and connect my rears to amps since there only going to the dash and the fronts and sub is going to a kicker 3 channel 700..
