I bought a set of aftermarket racing seats for my 2000 toyota celica gts. They come with universal sliders. Well in order to put them in the car I have to have the celica brackets that mount to the holes in the floor. Well I purchased a set of those made by weapon r but now i have a problem with the whole set up. The brackets will fit in the floor of the car where there supposed too and the universal sliders are hooked to the seat. They need to be mounted to the brackets and its not gonna line up right. I dont know what to do.. Id like to know if anyone has aftermarket seats and what they have done...thanks

Normaly the place where you buy the seats, they'll have the correct rails & sliders. I dunno, but it sounds like the place that you ordered it from screwed you. They should have known which rails & sliders to give you.

Chceck to make sure that the bracket is on the right side of the car. (Drivers/Passenger) I got them mixed up once and couldn't figure our why it wouldn't fit! I might be that. If not then Im not sure.
Knowing the path and choosing the path are two different things.

What kind of seats are they? Quality seats like Sparco, Corbeau and Recaro have brackets and sliders specific for different cars.

the seats are 3racing seats and the sliders are universal..i ordered the celica seat brackets..they are made by weapon r..they fit the floor of the car perfect. its just that i could put the sliders on the brackets..but then it wouldnt line up on the seats ..id have to drill into the seat..and i cant really dod that..its all padded ..the frame is just a squared like metal tubing..and it has a place for a bolt welded on each corner..
