true or false?

is there any sort of wheel spacer that i can use to push my rims out farther??

specifically, to have a widebody kit, the rims that i want ... and have them flush with the widebody?

I dont want big fat rims but i want widebody... is there such a thing as wheel spacers?

you seem to have underestimated my sneakiness, sir.

they are about $45 to $60 EACH (1" spacer) and another $15 for each additional 1/4"

You're looking at about $200 for 1" all the way around

$200 all around

but i think its worth it to ensure a tight ride ... the widebody fender flares look really great ... especially when the rims are spaced right!!!

they are NOT illegal - I think your friend has a little misunderstanding...

What they are is LESS-SAFE since it puts more stress on your suspension by lengthening the distance between your wheels and your disc brakes/drums.

its not recommended to go out further than 1" on either side.

carbon fiber hoods are less-safe because they dont fold like your foctory hoods do in the event of front colision

In some states these are illegal, but for the most part I hear anyone getting pulled over for these.

Secondly, Windshiled graphics are less-safe because they slow down the firemen from breaking your windshield when you get into a horrable accedent (this is also one of the main reasons that they dont want you to tint your driver/passenger side windows)

just a few things to remember when adding "aftermarket" to your car smile

true.

but what kinds of long term problems am i going to encounter with wheel spacers??

they add stress to the suspension you said ... meaning my suspension will wear out quicker?

i shouldnt have any differences with braking though right?

i'm guessing the spacers will probably change the handling characteristics of your car a bit too.
