My celica is 2000 GTS, i want to install the cold air intake, but i don't know which one(AEM & INJEN) is the best for 2000 GTS, and how much the hosepower will go up.

I have a 01 GTS and I prefer the Injen Race Div. CAI because, in my opinion:

1) It looks better than AEM
2) I've heard of less "check engine light" complaints from Injen CAI owners.
3) It performed slightly better than AEM.
4) It is CARB approved but so is the AEM.

yeah i've heard more people going with Injen, good points steven! personally i went with Blitz cause it enhances the looks of engine bay and those huge puddles during rainy season scare the shit out of me. hydrolock is just too big of a risk. thumbsdown

Yes, I would not want to encounter hydrolock.

I say AEM with the bypass valve. Its a lot safer so water won't get in it

I have driven through many rain storms this past winter. I didn't experience any problems what so ever. You just need to drive carefully. If I had to drive through a puddle, I went through it at like 1-2 mph's with the motor idling. If you have to go through a puddle, make the motor idle so it isn't sucking for large amounts of air. Some guys actually speed up so that their tires break the water and make the motor idle at the same time.
You will only experience "hydrolock" when the ENTIRE filter is submerged in water. A few splashs will not hurt the filter or your motor. In fact, I heard that a LITTLE moisture is actually good for the filter and your motor because it rises away some dirt and dust. I don't know if that's true or not.
