Celica Forums General Discussion Exterior can ANYONE help me

wats up? ok i know this is a celica site but i thought you guys can still help me,and i do own a celica but anyways. my brother has an 01 civic ex and hes goin to get an injen short ram intake from a kid in school very soon. i was look at a bunch of civic sites and can find how to install the short ram in any site. so do you guys now of any sites or know how it is installed. and one more thing the kids who is selling the intake owns a auto lx my brother has a 5sp ex can it still be installed? any help would be greatly appreciated.

Injen intakes come with install guides - but since you are getting your's used, I doubt it will have one.

Contact injen directly nd see if they could fax or email a PDF copy of the installtion procedure to you.

The EX has a VTEC engine and the filter and throttle body are not located at the same place. On the VTEC engine the throttle body is on the side and on the NON-VTEC, it's facing up. This is why they offer 2 diffirent intake for each application. Can it fit? That I don't know. Whatch also were the O2 sensor is. Hope I've help a little.
