It should be fine. If the problem persists, get it checked out by toyota.

the only explenation i have rite now is that it started happening after i got my pod gauges installed but i was thinking it has nothing to do with it
iam afraid to take it to a dealer coz if they cant pinpoint the problem they might blame it on my mods frown

im guessing that they WILL blame it on ur mods...

maybe it's the wireing of the pods?

ill see again tomorrow morning if it happens again
i doubt its the wiring coz theres only 3
1 12v source
2 is a ground
3 is the o2 sensor wire which is soldered in the stock "blue" o2 sensor(it was not cut just tapped into it-so no modifications there) confused

If the problem persists, take your car back to the place where your gaugues were installed. They should have some type of rules having to do with installation. Just mention that you don't know what's wrong and thought it might be the gauges. If you put em in yourself then; I'm not sure. Double check your wiring. On a similar note, i always yell at my brother for doing the same thing, especially on an automatic car: Let your car reach "idle" RPM's. It's bad for your car if you just turn it on and put it right into gear! angry Ha ha, that's just a pet peeve of mine.

is the engine reving? and the gauges just aren't working ? or is it that nothing is happening at all? If nothing at all it might be a transmission crack. My dad's auto Passat started to do that especially after a wash or if it was cold. Do your shift gears wit your auto and redline it everytime? (I think that's how my brother broke my dad's car) Hopefully it's just the gauges.
