Thought it would be interesting to hear about all the cars we drove before the celica.

My first car was a 90 Nissan Maxima with 110,000 miles. It was not a bad car, very reliable and a sleeper to many riced out civics. It had a V6, white gauges, and decent features. But it was the worst color on this planet. It was pearl white with 13 years of fade added on. I would wash it like every five days to make it look clean, but no matter how much i washed and waxed the pearl color never allowed it to look clean. And if i did not wash it, it was even worse. The seats were also uncomfortable and i could never find a good driving position. What cars did all of you guys start off with?

My last car was a Mazda MX-6. I loved that car, but had to sell it in order to move.

I used to live in Pennsylvania. But California is much cooler, and it was just too expensive to bring my car out here. The coolest part was the fact that i made money off that car. I bought it for $2600 and sold it for 4000 dollars after doing about 1G of work to it. Note to all: the more work you do yourself, the more money you save.

My first car was a 1990 white celica GT. Had it for only 6 months, totaled it with just over 235,000 miles, and still got $350 for it (someone used it for parts). That's why I bought a 2004 white celi! thumbsup

Is this kind of a repost or a repost many times over? Any way. My first car and a real winner was a Chevy Malibu late seventies metallic blue. The headliner was held on by staples and my friends would estimate the gas hike on the headliner with ball point pen. Had no radio even AM. The car would take 15 minutes to start each day and would stall around corners. It would not go above 55 mph's and when it did finally reach that speed it died in a puddle of horrific fluids and smoke. I left it to die and bought the nearest Pinto.

Yeah, I've answered this question twice now, I drove a 88 Honda Accord, and now an 88 (good year for cars I guess) Chevy Cavalier (shut up) until I can get my hands on a Celi.
