I've been deciding whether to get the race division intake or the shortram intake. I live in NJ so we get everything whetherwise. I didn't want to cut the plastic for the race division so I saw the shortram and figured I would get that. But I want to make sure it still has the same performance as the race division?

trust me get the cai the race division one, you wont regret it, it is very hard to hydrolock your car, basically your whole filter has to be submerged, if you are worried get the splash guard as well.

well im not worried about hydrolocking, I'm just saying if both perform the same, then I would rather get the shortram cause I don't want to cut at any plastics to void anything on it and if i go to sell it, I don't want to have to worry about it. So is the shortram good?

i have a short ram i love it. it gives you enough power gain, plus there is a lot of work to put the CAI in. plus IMO short ram looks better, there isnt a blank space in the engine bay. but i love it. and if you have the TRD front end, it will stay cold anyways. trust me i have one.

plus it takes (no joke) 5-10 min for install.

short ram's nice and all...i know youve already ordered it. but what about cold air. i mean it does a lil better preformance wise than short and AEM makes carb exempt intakes.
