i have been having problems with my aftermarket rims that i bought off of wheelmax. there is a lot of steering wheel movement when i'm going about 65mph + and i have already gone to a tire shop and everything came out good. they balanced them and did everything possible. They suggested getting hub rings and maybe this will solve the problem? does this really work and where/ how much can i get them for?

Hub centrix rings really works. You have to contact the wheel manufacturer or wheelmax. All you need is two for the front. I have two with my Racing Hart Z5000. But remember, they are not universal. You have to get the ones that are made for your rims.

They should come with your rims. If not, you may have to pay for it. I think they are like $5 each.

I never knew there was such a thing . . . so if I bought aftermarket I should get them with the rims?

It really depends on the rims, I guess. I use Racing Harts exclusively. My M5's come with 2. I called Dazzmotorsports and they told me I only needed two for the front. When I got the Z5000, two came with those also.

They look like this:
