TRD short shifter will not fit any tranny built after I think May of 2002, so it won't fit yours.

just curious, i've test drove 2000 model celica's and the stick seems very stiff. is that how all the celica's are?

a TRD short shifter WILL fit all 00-current celicas. just with 02-03 you need to take the TRD shifter out of its housing and put it into the stock housing.

*2003 Black GT-S 6speed* TRD body kit, HID upgrade, clear corners, Matrix XRS shift knob, 02 tails, trd exhaust, AEM gen 2 CAI, TWM short shifter.

my new trany was pretty stiff at first, after a few months of breaking it in though its perfect. i think most new tranys are stiff at first, especially in a sport setup thumbsup

the 2003 shifters are MUCH smoother than previous years... i felt a 2000 and a 2002 i think, and they are much stiffer than my stock 03 gt...
