if you got it and don't know, you can usually tell from the quality or fitment. But when you buy them, it is specifed as replica or "style"

The Kaminari? if so the rear bumper has it underneath on the driver's side (the only visible logo) and on the front and the side skirt's it is on the inside.

then you bought it from a bad seller...
must real kits have the authentic named etched somewhere on the kit...

Veilside has their name on theirs..
Kaminari has theirs
and sometimes, the replice may have the name of the manufacturer on it..such as VIS or something.

The kit I like is the Veilside 1. On many websites, it is listed as a VS-Style kit. Pretty replicated.

well, from what it says...'Each genuine quality component is hand crafted by a professional team in Japan and stamped with their logo for final approval.' it is 'TALKING' about the real one...I havent really heard anything bad about the website...but then again I havent heard anything at all. The kits SHOWN are Real Veilside kits, direct from the veilside website.

if it's that price, what do you think?
Also, it would say "replica" or "style" and the price would be about 600 something for the entire kit IF it was fake...

but I-M Racing sells all genuine products grin thumbsup

I was always under the impression that if the person selling it is not an "Authorized Distributor" Then it's fake. For example, as previously stated a place that describes the kit as " 'whatever' Style" can usually be determined as a replica. I disagree about the whole price issue. Some manufacturers sell to Authorized dealers at a reduced price; which it turn allows you to purchase an authentic Kit at less than MSRP. More Importantly that authenticity would be fitment above all. Good luck with the kit! thumbsup

Right right, a real BK is always more than a fake one.

Well i think that it's the market's way of obtaining consumers. If you price them the same, then i would just buy the original. If i ran a BK company then i would design and manufactuer my own styles, because that's what makes people buy up your stuff, originality.

let me just say you can DEFINATELY tell by the fitment... haha... i bought a replica because it was only $400.. but it took a LOT of body work to get that kit looking nice.. we actually had no choice but to mold everything together... thank GOD my brother-in-law knows what he's doing... he did an awesome awesome awesome job on my car... there's not even one dimple in the body work... if people only knew... haha
