So my friend just got an 01 jetta 5-speed. I was goin over to check it out and we went on a wendys run. So we line up an a light and nobody is around. So it turns green and i take off an he takes off. He beats me off the line cause my GT automatic doesnt pull that fast and i begin catching up and get about a car length ahead then pulled into wendys. It was funny cause he had been talking shit on my 4 banger right before we left.

if he could drive he woulda beat u... but its good now because he cant talk crap anymore.

Yea he is pretty new to a stick.

so just dont race him again once he gets it... lol ... he'll think your car is way faster.

LOL, supporting street racing? Alright, let me be the one who says WTF do you care if your friend says that your car is slower. Racing him in sinking down to his level He's just jealous that you have a Celica & he's got a pos Jetta.

It was all in fun. Its not like we were plowing down the road going 140 hittin 100 shots of NOS with vin diesel.

Don't race him again if you want to keep your braggin rights... especially if he is a fast learner.

Yea my mom has a new 2003 jetta V6...haven't raced it but i drove it...it seems like it would kill my GT manual
