Alright guys, my father doesn't think that a cat-back exhaust will pass the emissions test, has anyone had trouble passing it with a TSRM?

The reason he is questioning it is because my friend who drives a 2001 Impreza didn't pass with his Injen exhaust. He installed it himself, if that makes a diffrence.

All Tanabe exhaust systems are 50 state legal. They even give you a document that says that. I can show you a pic if I can find the document.
