What's the best configuration for our headers?

4-2-1? What's the HP gain on that? torque? Would that take a little away from the low end torque?

i dont know of any 4-2-1 headers for the celica, you know of any?

I thought I read that was the best configuration for the celi, But I'm not sure, that's why I'm asking.

So do you know what the best configuration is?

It's actually 4-1 and really short.

dont forget that the celica header system is a 4-2-1 design.
the header is the 4-2 and the down pipe is the 2-1 section.if the header is a straight 4-1 it will lose low to mid rpm power cause the gases will mix and then has to be separated again by the divider in the downpipe.the scavenging effect will be minimum cause the joined runners would not be aided by its pair to help suck the exhaust gases out.egs in the celica 1 and 4 , 2 and 3 are (cylinders or runners)joined,whenever air moves in any runner it causes a vacuam like effect causing the air in the other runner its paird with to flow as well.it happens from 4 to 2 to 1 if you take out the middle step(if you take the divider out)the entire effect would be lost, and the extra power you would make by extra scavenging would be lost along with it.
