Celica Forums General Discussion Exterior Led tailights...?

I have stock tails right now, but I saw a pic of these taillights with Leds in them...I think it was just an LED bulb...but Im not sure. And if so what size??? Are they universal at all?? And how would those bulbs look with stock tails??? Would you still get that LED effect? Anyone? lol

Have you ever seen a bunch of led bulbs connected together to make one bulb? I think I have seen them used in tail lights before, gives it a cool but ricey look.

Also, I think you have to buy the whole assembly. I don't think you can just screw one in to your stock assembly but I could be wrong.

looks ok, but just use normal bulbs dude...I'd rather be concerned about how my tails look than how they light up...i would just be concerned they are functional

I like LED tails, myself, but I seem to recall that the person you're referring to did a custom job. Try seeing if you can find the thread with Search...
