Hey whats up Guys! Well, my car is fucked up lol. I need to know if you guys know any good places I could get these parts from. A short block or long, crank pulley, exhaust valves, and overhaul kit. Any info will be much appreciated. Thanks!

personally, i'd take it to an independent mechanic/shop. they'll most likely be cheaper, and be able to know exactly what you need and know how to install it. thumbsup

you need Toyota parts though..and they may not have the ability to get Toyota parts...and they would be more expensive going through another person than through Toyota.

well i do not know how it is around you...but almost every mechanic/auto shop around here can order toyota parts. dealerships are just notoriously known for overcharging. for instance..if i wreck my car i take it to combels or manhattan collision (both local shops around here) and they order whatever i need genuine toyota, do the work, and most likely for less. then i'm on my way thumbsup

oh ok, I got you...you're talking about places associated with dealers...
I thought you meant those low-profile places...
but yea, if the bodyshop or whatever is associated with some dealers, they will hook you up..but idk about that stuff..

honestly i don't know if they are associated or not..i think they order from an autoparts wharehouse (which IS associated with car manufacturers--such as toyota). so indirectly they are associated with toyota and other car manufacturers, but i don't know about dealerships.

but yes...i'm not talking low-profile. they do good quality work and its by no means 'cheap'--just cheapER.

...just search around for places that sell the parts you need...try the dealer, then places around it.
