I am currently doing my interior with vinyl, and I want to do the airbag cover. How would I go about removing it? I dont want to set off the airbag by mistake.

Its not paint its vinyl thumbsup It cost much cheaper than painting it, and the best part is its not permanent.

Man, gotta hand it to you. goodjob You and Roman are good with vinyl. thumbsup

Not sure about removing the passenger-side airbag cover, but the steering wheel is held on by 3 screws (look it from the back).

You need to disconnect your battery first and wait 15 - 20 min. to allow reserve power from the airbag to be drained.

That is absolutely true. Cant help you on that airbag cover, sorry. But I would not mess with that all too much.
