stock side skirts

Is everyone else's stock skirts that yucky black plastic? Has anyone gotten them professionally painted yet? Tired of seeing how crappy mine looks.

the skirts on silver celicas r made out of a gray plastic, the color looks like it matches but its actually a different shade, the skirt is not painted

i also think they look crappy (cheap, if you want another word for it).

but personally, i wouldn't paint them. you'd have to order the factory toyota paint if you wanted it to match decently..and that'll set you back a few bucks (it's not really THAT expensive...i just don't think its worth it). if you are very concerned about it..i'd just look into buying a kit. OR you can do the paint, i just don't recommend it.

how's the alignment with the rest of the underside car body? i know ww and the TRD skirts are not that low, but they are still lower than stock just the same.

Having the stock rocker plastic's painted was one of the first things I did, It finished the car off and makes it look a little lower. here's an old pic
