Just don't get Visa tires like they stuck on my old car when I got my new rims. When you hear "I'll throw in the tires for free with the wheels", that's a good warning sign.

yoko's parade spec 2 is pretty popular, that's what I have, but I'm gonna upgrade to the AVS Sport when these wear out

You might want to try sumotomo's as well. They are pretty nice and usually aloit cheaper than counterparts of equal performance. I think they are on either tirerack or tires.com

I duno I hear that most people that buy them are the same kinda people that slap Type-R emblems on their cavaliers... they are just used a lot more because people who don't know anything just buy it since everyone else is but nitto are good street tires...i'd still rather have somethigne else over them though.

I have Nitto Neo Gens waiting in my basement for the spring. They are basically the same tire as the Parada Spec 2. I heard all the horror stories of driving in the rain with the later so I went with something new. Neither of these 2 tires would I race on a track with, but they were only $420 for 4 17" 215 40. I figured they will out perform my now non-existing stock tires and they would be cheaper than getting Pirelli Assimetrico's again or something similar that I would kill in a year. I wish I had chosen Falkens instead because I heard they are a better tire and around the same price. By the way, I drive a Celica if you didn't know.

I've got Bridgestone Potenza's cause they came with the car. Handle really well and provide a nice tire roar on the highway to keep me awake at night.
