hi guys, i have read and kept up with this site for a little while now but just really started doing stuff to my car now. I have a 2000 carbon blue celica gt. I currently have a veilside 1 full body kit with motegi MR7 18inch gunmetal rims. my car is in the shop right now getting an alarm put in and tomorrow goes to the body shop. I am getting my body kit molded in and a color changing paint job done. The paint is primarily a dark blue almost like carbon blue and changes to a crimson color and almost a bronze color when you are looking almost even with the paint. I am also putting on a VIS invador carbon fiber hood and (probubly) a veilside 1 carbon fiber spoiler. i am also getting lowering springs after my car gets out of the shop. Anyway i say all this because you guys more experienced in this field than i am and i was wanting some ideas, comments, words of advice..what ever ya got its all welcome. thanks in advance wave

can't wait to see...sounds like you'll have one of the premier celicas on this site thumbsup thumbsup can't wait to see what it looks like!

also, i noticed all of the parts you mentioned were exterior or suspension. do you have an interior mods in mind or do you want some opinions?

I havent done anything to my interior or or engine yet. But after i do this i think i am either going to get CAI, exhaust and maybe something else moderately easy to the engine or put a system in it and do a little other interior work. I dont know why but i picked the exterior to modify first. But i want to get it looking good before i start on something else grin

oh, beleive me when i say i was NOT picking on you for only modding the exterior. many, many people do that and personally i would probably do the same--it's what people notice most. i was just wondering about the other aspects of your car. cai (or shortram) and exhaust sound pretty good. but it really won't add much power (usually about 7 or 8 whp--thats really not all that bad though) so it's mostly just an appearance mod and audible mod (bigger exhaust looks best with a body kit and intakes and exhausts give your car a better sound)

keep up the good work thumbsup
