Haha, the supra and celica lines where joined for a time, but they've always had their differences, calling them one in the same is far from the truth. I would say they were both spawned from the original japanese sports car. The 2000GT.

I don't think our chassis is big enough to have a T-top. If we did have a T-top, it would be quite small. It would also jeopardize the structural integrity in the event of a roll over.

yep, this was talked about before.

it's possible, but as mentioned it probably would be very small.

that said, i'd prefer a t-top over a convertible ANY day thumbsup

I think it'd be pretty awesome...

Honda pulled off the fully removable roof in the Del Sol, so I'm sure Toyota could find a way to make it work with the Celi T-top if they wanted.

I love convertibles... when I can have the top down. Cloth tops are a pain and removable hardtops are way too big to store all the time. That's why I'm going for a SL500 when I become a millionaire. spineyes

It's a shame there's no pics of it with the top up. I bet it would be hella ugly then. rofl

My first car is a convertible, they're fun on Sunday morning driving. Hell they're always fun except when it rains then it leaks. frown

I'm no fan of convertibles and that celica one looked terrible. My previous car had a sunroof and I think I opened it three times during the seven years I had it. So an open roof is thumbsdown

Somehow, the side shot of that Celi convertable looks a whole lot like the A4 convertable...
