wait until the DC header is dyno'd to see how it compares to trial because it seems like it will be cheaper and they are pretty reputable,

High compression TRD kit, thats about it right now if your staying away from FI, check out twminduction.com their intake manifold is suppost to be out in april for the 2zz, moves the injectors to it and has four throttle bodies(more air, and more time to atomize fuel/air)

aiite how bout this???
Cold Air Intake-Injen-200
Exhaust-TRD-600
Pulley Kit-AEM-60
Headers/Grounding Kit-Trial-900
Shortshifter-TRD-150
Total-Around 2000

That leaves 1000. I want the TRD high compression pistons and rings, but i hav no idea how much they cost, and to my understanding you need a pre-tuned ECU if you want it to work on 93 octane...So I hav no idea how much the high compression kit is and how much the pre-tuned ECU is...

my own take:

1. cai or shortram $200-$250 (i'd go aem, injen, or rmm)
2. exhaust $450 (greddy or trd)
3. header $700 (for trial..stay tuned for dc motorsports, though)
4. shortshifter $150 (b&m or tws)
5. clutch $250 (ACT)
6. aem big brake kit $500
7. aem tru power pulley $80
8. apr flex control bar $150
9. springs $200 (tein, eibach, hks)

this leaves almost $300 left over..of course this will most likely go towards shipping...
