new engines

i dont know where i heard this from, but i got a brand new gts auto, and i heard that it was bad that if i rev my engine or race it before i get at least 1000 miles on it. any truth to that?

The first 1000 miles is usually considered break in period. It is a good idea to take it easy during this time. smile
