i bought my car used, i put 30k miles on it, i got EBC brake pads.. and its still the same rotors i bought my car with.. and my braking kinda sucks.. how do i know if i need new rotors?

take it to a mechanic shop and let them look for u. they might just sharpen it or replace it depending on the problem. sometimes the rotor bends a little from excessive braking and heat i think.

do you feel a pulse in the brake pedal when you press it? If you do then they are warped. They may just need to be turned.

Either way you may as well buy new ones (cheaper), tirerack.com has Brembo OEM rotors for $22.00 each.

Never really payed attention to the rear rotors untill I pulled the rear wheels like two weekends ago, like a quarter of a inch think. Freaking small.

well ever since i changed my pads to EBC green stuff pads, it feels like its slipping, and i dont know if its the pads that i got or if somethings wrong with the rotor.. i guess ill take it to a shop to find out.. but if you guys have suggestions or anything please post. thanks

it's not the bads...however, did you seat them properly and break them in? Also, excess rust build up could somehow get between the rotor and pad, and that might lessen the initial bite of the pad.

If your rotors are rusting, it's really worth it to get some new ones, only $90 for all four from tirerack, can't beat that with a stick!

yeah might as well get new ones, they could be warped, or your new brakes may still need to be broken in, when you first install em it takes a while for them to really kick in.
