Ok trying to decide on an exhaust system. I was looking at APEXi was wondering if anyone had experience with em. Also was considering a custom job. I'm not sure...I DON'T want it to sound high, i prefer a low growl kind of sound as opposed to the more popular exhaust sound you tend to hear on the roads these days (fuck you Fast and the Furious). Was wondering if you guys would suggest custom, APEXi, GReddy, or something else. Thanks.

Yeah I had heard a couple of things about those! But I'd never heard of it before so I wasn't sure. Low is nice...didn't you or someone else post a video clip w/ sound of it?? I recall that I liked it. Whats that give you for HP?

APEX N1 is nice and low toned, and its not too much louder than stock (Gts, dont know about gt stock sound). I got mine off of ebay for 415 shipped brand new.

you want smoothe quiet go with greddy.trd has good gains but too quiet.you can even replace the greedy pan(center) with a flow through race type muffler (like the bullet muufler from summitt racing)it will bring the gains past the trd and still sound heavy without that tin can sound.

When I bought my apex I was expecting a higher pitched whinier sound, but it turned to be lower toned and not as obnoxious. Tanabe is more like what I was looking for but it sounds like you don't want the ricier sound, go with Apex thumbsup
