I think it says on the stock bulb, I just changed mine out with a blue one. What I did was take out the stock one and go down to the local auto parts store and ask them if they had any of the same size. Sure enough they had white and blue.

according to the owners manual, the interior light is:

with moonroof: 10 watt type E
w/out moonroof: 8 watt type F

nope...all it says is a 10 watt type E bulb the part # is left blank in the owners manual (probably because toyota does not sell the light bulb--people usually go to an auto parts store for bulbs)

the moonroof bulb is a higher wattage because the dome light is pushed to the front of the headliner..hence it needs to be brighter to illuminate a larger forwards area.

the bulb w/out the moonroof does not need to be as bright because the dome light is in the center of the headliner, hence the light can "spread" evenly.

Isaac can help for I asked the same question before or almost. I think at the E-Celica store U can get a replacement that's hiper or hyper white that will do the job. I tried to do a search and found nothing on it, for I asked before and I can't find it (it's there somewhere). I don't know if it's still available. Some voice of reason will answer this soon.

yes, you can do a hyperwhite replacment. but i'm not aware of the part #'s or types of bulbs these are.

in any case, search google for: celica "dome light". i remember one of the first results was something on a hyperwhite bulb for the dome light.
