So I got the idea that if you paint over the controls of the A/C you can reprint them on clear sticker paper and attach em to the console annd then spray some gloss coat over it. Anyone done this??

my only question is how can you see them at nite?

teh light won't shine through the paint and with the stickers i don't see how you can se em

it's for the glow look at night, if the rest of your center glows but not ur A/C controls it looks like something is fucked up. That look is not good. Obviously everyone knows where the shit is.

yeah, but it will affect resale in a way (even if a very small way). also...my gf prob fools with the ac controls more than i do..she's the fickle one. i just switch between defrost and normal vent.

haha or you could just make sure to sell your car during the day...and let them find out themselves at night..then resale won't be affected at all rofl rofl

I have them ...it still shines thru a bit...if you want it perfectly lit up just put the stickers on before you paint and paint over them and take them off and TA DAAAA it works rofl grin thumbsup

but then won't you have that circle of stock paint still left once you peel the sticker off?

mine is painted but i leeft the dials and a ring around them stock color. but nate has his totally painted and i think mine lookls way better. thumbsup
