i got a 12" jl w3 and am getting a 300/2 jl amp... i need a capacitor and dont know anything about "good" "bad" capacitors>??? theres so many to choose from. HELP

I don't think you'd need cap for a 300/2 amp...

If you do go with one, I've always been happy with my 1 farad Rockford cap. Never once had a problem with lights dimming, and my amp is far higher powered than yours.

I think it was around $100 when I bought it from Best Buy...

ive got a 1 farad rockford, an it works perfect thats what i would , a cap is better than no cap
