I had the same (?) before...But seems like no one know for sure how to take the whole dash off.
There is the couple of pictures in the installation page but it's not clear and you can not tell how to take the dash off.
I have manual tran. So to take the shift plastic off i have to take the shift knob off and then just pull the plastic up.Dont know about Auto... wave

same process for an automatic... confused

To know even one life has breathed easier
This is to have succeeded.

sorry about that! rofl here is the link for the automatic shifter removal: http://strictlycelica.com/ for some reason they don't have a direct link to the page. when you view this page, there should be a menu bar at the top click on the "installs" link and then you should see a "shifter removal" site. click on this: this is an install for the automatic shifter removal..so obviously you won't need all of this info, but it begins with removing the plastics thumbsup
