Ok, so decided to work on the celi with a friend, not my best friend as usual since he was working. The project, replace the bulbs in the console to make the lights red. He was in charge of the right side. He thought it would be a good idea to use pliers on the LEDs of the A/C console, before I could stop the fucked the LED was broken, a trip to Toyota revealed that in fact I had to buy the whole console $65 (got like $10 off or something) well fuck that! I know some ppl have put in LED lights and such any ideas as to what i could do without getting a new console? I have some accent LED's I thought about maybe just putting those back there, but I was hoping to use those else where, suggestions?

do you mean the center console? i'm confused because you said your friend was working on "the right side) of which there is no right/left side in the center console. if you are talkinga bout the center console, here a few links from the ecelica install guides: change backlight on stereo install guide change radio lights credit isaac for the posts.

I think you are talking about AC control... where there are two light bulbs... There aren't any easy way to have LED to light up... Easiest way is to use colored bulb cover(aka gel cap) Other way is use gel filter and cover up the lighting areas...
