Does anybody have:

1) Links to tech articles on the GTS engine (I read the one provided in the "Tech Info" section of this site, but there really isnt much there)

2) Pictures of the internals of the head off of a GTS engine.


I understand that "lift" for the GTS is similar in concept to Honda's Vtec, but I'm interested in how the GTS engine accomplishes said "lift". Articles and pictures would help, so let's have it. Thank you.

glad to see some honda users are taking an interest in the celica. here are a few things i found, the 1st & 2nd site say mainly the same things..with few different things being discussed. the 2nd to last site has a diagram that may prove helpful and the last site is a spinoff of the 2nd to last site (sorry if thats confusing.

Don't treat the forums like your personal chatroom. If you have read through our tech section you would of found out how VVTi and VVTLi works. As for pictures, you need to perform a search. Thread Closed.
