I like an agressive kit and I was thinkin of this VS kit, any opinions, my car is silver just like the pic. If anyone has it am I gunna have to paint and mold it? Or do VS come molded and painted? I don't care, just wondering.

i think the VS kit is one of the best out there...i'm gettin mine in about 5 months...i would recommend getting the genuine kit for full fitment and quality assurance, but if you want to gamble you can get the replica...it looks sic in silver tho! thumbsup

You will have to paint it and some some molding might be required to get that perfect fit. If you gt a genuine you can be sure the quailty will be great and require minimal work.

yeah, i belive all kits but the TRD have to be painted. TRD comes painted from toyota to perfectly match the color of your car, which is why its expensive, and the fact that toyota overcharges on everything. also expect to leave ur car in the shop for awhile.

I'm not a fan of shops, I'd prolly do it myself. Attaching the kit won't be a problem, but painting might. Any suggestions?

i would bring it to a shop to paint, you will get a professional quality paint job. unless you know how to paint it yourself and have the equipment and confidence to do it, then more power to ya thumbsup

Come one just get real...To paint the body kit good, you have to have a lot of experience.Even some of the painting shops with experienced workers can fuck it up...And many of them will not even paint your bodykit...It's not easy to find some one to paint fibergalss (at list in my area)
Yes installation not that hard but takes time.
I have a replica of VS kit and installation was ok but it's took me 18 hours to put the whole kit on, fitment was not perfect.
Side skirts were easy to install,Rear bumper kind of compicated but not so bad and Fron was the hardest to install.
P.S.And please do not paint it your self...unless you done it before couple of times or you will fuck your kit up. wave
P.P.S.I spent $850 on a painting job and it was just ok...

Yea I got replica, it's actually almost a perfect fit for me but the front bumper needs a little adjustment. Painting, I have a co-worker who can paint and she painted her truck. Her truck was her first paint job ever, and ever since she painted it (over a year ago) there has been no rusting, chipping or flaking. It's a great paint, and I'm going to ask her to paint it for me with my assistance of course because I want to learn too. Plus, a can of paint will cost roughly $200-$300CDN here, so even if I fuck up I can just buy another can and do it again it even then it would still cost me less than bringing it to the shop. Shop prices here are horrible...I don't like it...

The only reason I'd consider painting is cause my best friend is in the carpentry painting business and his dad knows all about paintin and shit and he's learned a lot. He's helpin with my dash. As far a painter goes he's real good, it's just getting the equipment. Perhaps a shop painting would be safer...
