I am trying to decide between TRM and B&M shifter for my 03 GTS. As far as price wise they are pretty equal. Cheapest I could find was around $140 for those two. I'm wondering which is better of two and also which is more easier to install since I will be doing the install. I haven't done any short shifter install so easier the better. Please give me any feed back on these two shifter. Thanks all for your feedback.

Sort through this POST. Generally speaking, the install should be pretty much the same for any ss kit, so don't judge it by install, judge it by your preference of the height of the shifter and your driving skills.

Oops its TWM and TRM hehe my bad. To my knowledge, TWM is the shortest and also the one that takes the most skill to use smoothly. TRD is somewhat longer, but from what I hear the smoothest. Perhaps you should at least look in TRD's direction?

where can I get a trd short shifter for the cheapest price? Go to google.com and do a search for them, or a TRD product site. Or you can wait a while and search Ebay every now and then one pops up.

many people here have the b&m shortshifter and love the feel of it.
that said, most twm ss users love theirs as well. to my knowledge, i don't know of any users here with the trd ss.

If TWM is more difficult to shift smoothly, how difficult is it? I wanna get shortest possible. My wife drives the car too and she ain't that tall. 5'10" to be exact. So she sits really close to the steering wheel. It look kinda funny cause first shifter is way too high for her and shifter actully falls little behind her body. It would be little more comfortable if shifter height is little shorter. But my worry is that it hasn't been that long since she learned how to drive manual. It's no problem for me it's just her. Want to know exactly how much more difficult to shift TWM shifter. Thanks.

Ok TWM is shortest. From TRD SS and TWM SS, TWM is more stiffer and TRD. I would like to find out how much more stiff than TRD SS.
