i just bought some gauges, i don't know how to attach the lines, should I cut existing lines and use connectors, or strip existing lines and wrapp the new line around it.
If i'm to use connectors what kind do you guys recommand?

are calling wires "lines", if so you just need butt connectors of a gauge the will fit the gauge wire you are using, and crimper helps.

You need to understand that I can't see what your looking at. I don't know what kind of gauge you hooking up. Details my friend, details, and maybe some pics.

I cant imagine it to be that hard, besides, I would rather be able to do it myself then to pay someone. And if i really fuck it up, i can always take it to a shop.

the gauge I bought is a little (2 and 1/16th) rpm gauge, and I'm buying a air fuel gauge.

Ok I see where you are confused, a butt plug is a like a pipe, you have your source coming in on one end the then on the other end you have you two other wires, one is the original and the other is the new one.. in your case the other wire is for your new gauges.

Yeah, a butt connector has two ends, and he's confused cause he has three wires. I just used one of those caps that screw all the wires together, that way I didn't have to crimp anything. But if you are in a tight space, use a butt connector.
