Just got an eclipse head unit (CD8443) and I'm gunna put it in tomorrow. Tweeter gave me a harness that the guy said might work
idunno, but I'm thinking I'm gunna have to bypass the factory amp manually. I wonder, since the amp is only, what...20W it's not going to make a big difference right? What do you all think? Also, any experience with eclipse head units anyone?

thanx, yeah I looked that up before, I was just weirded out that they gave me a harness so I didn't want to waste my time hardwiring in the freezing cold massachusetts winter if I didn't have to. Oh well! Sounds fun...T-minus 1 hour till install. How is the sound without the amp still as good/better I'd hope yes?

You might be able to get the right harness for the amp bypass from crutchfeild, thats where I got one for my wifes mustang.
