I have a 00 gts and my passenger side headlight keeps getting water in it whenever it rains. I was wondering if there was a recall on the headlights or if anyone knows how to fix the problem? Thanks so much

I have the same problem and unfortunately I'm out of warranty. Isn't it convenient that these types of issues arise after warranty expires?

I couldn't have said it any better, other than my dealership dicking me around for 50,000 miles.

I have the same problem, and I've noticed it in the last few weeks.

Oh well, no 36K warranty thumbsdown

i'm thinking of getting the headlight cover and smoking it so it's less noticeable.

I was thinking about doing this same thing and wondered how noticeable it would be afterwords. Heh, maybe we can ask BlueBatmobile for some pics of his smoked headlight kit with condensation? grin

That's is still a Toyota Manufacture Defect. My buddy had the same problem, but out of warranty also. He complained and wrote letters to Toyota until they gave him a new light. There wasn't enough silicone put on when the light was made, which is a Toyota defect. The light housing should never allow moisture to enter, unless you took the light apart and painted the inside, but didn't seal it properly, then it will be your fault. I would complain if it happens to me. Just a heads up. thumbsup

Yes, but you need to explain to them that this is a manufacture defect period, even if the warranty is over. thumbsup
