New spot for LED's

Here's a project a friend and I did on my car last week...we got the idea from an Eclipse forum but it worked really good for the Celica too. grin Basically we just ran LEDs up to all the air vents and secured them by jamming them in the netting stuff in the vent itself. Took about three hours to wire the whole thing up, but definetly worth it. Sorry for the blurry pics, but I think you get the idea... thumbsup

What type of LED's did you use? I was looking for some to put in my AC Console.

Go to PepBoys and you can get "Redline" 6" L.E.D. Flexible mini tube (BLUE,RED,YELLOW,GREEN) for $13.(To change your AC console lights).
P.S.I got one but i think i will buy second one to make it brighter.
P.P.S.Or you can go to RadioShak and buy...PS-2 clear joystik with LED wire inside,($23) open the joystik take the LED wire out and install it to your AC Console.

Yeah, only problem is that there is only one of those stores in my whole state, and that's like an hour and a half away. Maybe Ebay? Doubt it... frown

Thanks guys - I'll try to get an install together soon when I get some time. BTW, they really aren't as bright as they look in those pics...in real life they're dimmer but still bright enough to see...perfect imo grin.

Haha, you can never have too much light. Please post an install, I'd like to do the same to mine only with white LEDs.
