would it be safe to run a 7500k HID?

Sorry to say, but you're using the wrong figures for your basis. 9000k is a white scheme for monitors. Find what type of plastic comes with your celica's lights up front. Look and see what company makes them or however you can find that out. Usually the plastic up there is not going to hold up to excessive temperatures. In my opinion, why bother..

well no ... im just saying that a 9000k HID is hotter than a 7500k ... thats what makes the lighting difference ...

im not using it as a straight temperature question...

ive just heard that if you put in too hot of an HID ... the headlamp housing tends to melt ... i was mearly wondering if anyone actually put in anything close to to 9000k ... and if it melted or not wink
